Lodge Registered Building Surveyors permits online
Registered Building Surveyors can lodge and pay their Section 80 notifications with their Section 30 Building Permits online.
Please note amendments, variations, staged building permits and extensions of time for building permits cannot be lodged online.
Information required
Registered Building Surveyors can lodge their application online. To lodge the application the following information is required:
- details of the applicant and building surveyor
- the details of the building application including the proposed development, estimated development cost and building classification
- copy of the building permit
- permit application forms, and
- building permit plans.
Lodge the section 80 and 30
To lodge online, Registered Building Surveyors need to submit both the Section 80 and 30 together. You cannot lodge these separately online.
You will also need separate electronic files for the building permit and plans up to a maximum size of 4MB each.
- If the file is between 4MB and 10MB, the application can be lodged online but the permit/plan must be emailed to Council. Include in your email the transaction reference you get when you have completed the application online.
- If the file exceeds 10MB, the application can be lodged online but the permit/plan must be mailed or handed in person. Include the transaction reference you get when you have completed the application online.
Lodge online
- Register first as a user on Council's eServices before you can lodge the section 80 and section 30 building permit plans.
