Seniors and Membership Activity grants
Seniors and Membership Activity grants meet the specific needs of Moreland based incorporated community groups who meet on a regular basis to address issues of isolation and promote active community involvement.
Amounts available
- Up to 20 members: $500
- Up to 60 members: $750
- Over 60 members: $1000
For groups receiving other Council support, the eligible amounts are $250, $500 and $750 retrospectively.
Application dates
Any time during financial year until funds are expended.
Duration
Throughout the year. Groups can make one application every 12 months.
Eligibility criteria
- Expenses associated with membership activities such as transport costs, refreshments, insurance, dinners and general day to day expenses.
- Groups which have a substantial proportion of their membership base living in Moreland.
- Groups applying through an auspice arrangement.
- Incorporated groups or groups with an ABN.
- Individuals will not be funded.
- Groups who are already receiving in-kind or other financial support from Council may received reduced funding.
- Groups who meet outside of the Moreland municipality will not be funded.
- Groups must provide a copy of their membership list, financial statement for previous 12 months and a copy of a current public liability insurance policy with their application.
- Groups will not be funded if they fail to submit an evaluation for any grant previously received from Council.
