The clubs of Moreland - more than just sport!
There are more than 120 sports clubs in Moreland – from athletics to water polo and just about everything in between.
Sports clubs are a fantastic way to get to know your local community, meet people, get involved and be active. Today’s sports clubs often provide a variety of activities for people of all ages and interests. They are much more than just about sport, with a range of social and community events to engage everyone.
The West Coburg Sports Club is a great example of what modern sports clubs can offer. They are a truly ‘family friendly’ club offering opportunities for people of all ages and abilities – football, netball, softball, cricket and little athletics.
Club activities include competition, training, social activities, meals, fundraising and social events. The club uses three venues across West Coburg and Pascoe Vale South and offer year round opportunities for people to get involved.
Club life in Moreland is a great way to be among other people who have similar interests. Everyone is welcome to get involved either as a player, supporter or helper. Clubs are a great way to get involved and be active – they are local and often very affordable.
