Get on the fast track to planning approval
It can be frustrating and often stressful waiting for Council planning approval, especially for simple or minor renovations to your home.
To assist in streamlining minor planning proposals, Moreland City Council has introduced a new Fast Track Application service.
Qualifying Fast Track Applications are guaranteed approval by Council within 15 business days, with many recent applications approved within just 10 days.
With no additional fees to customers, the fast track service is ideal for residents wanting to make minor extensions or additions to their home.

Council’s new Commercial Priority Application Process for new and expanding businesses
New and expanding businesses in Moreland have significant local employment and investment benefits for the community.
To reduce the cost of delay to businesses, Council’s Urban Development Branch have developed a new Commercial Priority Application stream.
Planning applications that qualify for Commercial Priority are approved in less than 60 business days from the date of lodgement.
