Get set to enjoy a free day of fun and entertainment at the 2011 Glenroy Festival with a family friendly atmosphere not to be missed.

“This year the festival promises to deliver an exciting celebration for the community with a program jam packed with free rides, activities and entertainment that offers something for everyone,” Mayor Cr Oscar Yildiz said.

The 2011 Glenroy Festival will present a stage program that includes everything from ballroom to belly dancing. Enjoy a taste of Brazil with a cooking and music performance fusion by five piece Brazilian inspired Jazz and Samba band Tatu Rei and an explosive hip hop performance by the 12 member, all female Melbourne dance crew Hollabak.

The festival will also feature roving entertainment, a range of community and market stalls, children’s creative
activities, group singing and hip hop workshops, workshops at the Mulberry Gardens Community Kitchen Garden, a bungee run, animal farm, jumping castle, plus much more!
