Class descriptions
We have a wide range of fun and challenging group fitness classes available to improve your fitness. These classes are a fantastic way to get active, stay motivated and exercise with friends. We have choreographed classes to suit beginner through to the more advanced from the renowned Les Mills formats to our own home-grown class options.
You can pay for a single class, get a multi-visit pass or become a member.
ABT
A great workout to isolate and tone those problem areas. Great for all levels of fitness. If you want rock hard abs, buns of steel and thighs to die for, then this class is for you!
Blitz
A high energy workout combining athletic moves and motivating aerobic combinations. The session involves upper body and abdominal components to provide a complete body workout.
Bodyattack
The sports-inspired cardio workout for building strength and stamina. This high-energy interval training class combines athletic aerobic movements with strength and stabilisation exercises.
Bodybalance
The Yoga, Tai Chi, Pilates workout that builds flexibility and strength, and leaves you feeling centred and calm. Controlled breathing, concentration and a carefully structured series of stretches, moves and poses to music create a holistic workout that brings the body into a state of harmony and balance.
Bodycombat
The empowering cardio workout where you are totally unleashed. This fiercely energetic program is inspired by martial arts. Supported by driving music as powerful role model instructors strike, punch, kick your way through calories to superior cardio fitness.
Bodyjam
A cardio workout where you are free to enjoy the sensation of dance. An addictive fusion of the latest dance moves and hottest new sounds puts the emphasis as much on having fun as breaking a sweat. Funky instructors teach you to move with attitude through this class.
Bodypump
The original barbell class that strengthens your entire body. This workout challenges all your major muscle groups by using the best weight-room exercises with great music, awesome instructors inspiring you to get the results you came for and fast!
Bodystep
An energising step workout that makes you feel alive. Using a height-adjustable step and simple movements on, over and around the step you get huge motivation from sing-a-long music and approachable instructors. Great for fat burning and toning.
Boxing
Punching technique, pad work, skipping, running and abdominal work will bring a sweat to the best of them. Let's burn some calories!
Cycle
An exercise class performed on stationary bikes. It will increase your fitness level, burn fat and tone and shape your legs, hips and butt in only 45 minutes.
Fitball
Experience a low impact session that will bring huge results. Learn how to activate your core muscles and find a new level of strength and stability throughout your whole body using a fitball.
Pilates
This class will assist in strengthening your core area and improving your flexibility, by focusing on correct body alignment, breathing, and lengthening and strengthening your muscles.
Water workout
A great work-out while receiving the benefits of a low impact session. The class is set to uplifting music, is designed to improve cardiovascular fitness, strengthen your muscles and is ideal for all types of fitness levels, especially those recovering from injury.
Yoga
Our instructors will gently guide you to a new level of strength and flexibility whilst helping you to re-centre and relax yourself. It will develop an alignment of body, mind and spirit for a healthier state of being.
Zumba
Exotic rhythms set to high energy Latin and international beats. It's a combination of fitness and dance moves on swinging Latin music. It's easy to do, effective and totally exhilarating.
All Active 50+ classes
Wet or dry there are several classes for older adults all designed to increase mobility, flexibility, strength, balance and cardiovascular fitness. All levels from beginner to advanced are catered to. So join the crowd, have some fun and feel fitter and stronger for longer! Classes are part of our Active 50+ Program.
Please note
- All classes run for 1 hour, except for Water Workout which is 50 minutes and Cycle which is 45 minutes.
- No entry to any class 5 minutes after its scheduled commencement time.
- Class limits apply, be early to avoid disappointment.
- Make sure you have a class ticket to ensure entry, hold onto it until it is collected by the instructor.
- Consult your doctor prior to participating in any group exercise program.
