Active teens
Active Teens offers a wide variety of supervised and personalised training options for teenagers aged 13 to 15.
Active Teen members can:
- use the Health Club from 3.30 pm - 6 pm
- use the pool anytime (no access to the Spa and Steam room)
- do group fitness classes at 5 pm Monday - Friday, and Zumba at 4 pm Sunday
- dedicated trainer supervision
- personalised programming
- sport specific training if required
- information package and seminars
- improve cardio vascular fitness
- healthier habits
- improve confidence
- improve self esteem
- develop body tone
- supervised social interaction
- education for nutrition, and
- training methods and practices.
Active Teens is designed to give teenagers a personalised option for their heath and fitness needs without the social or performance pressures of team based options and sport. It allows them an individualistic approach in an environment that is both safe and social and 100% supervised.
An excellent option for all levels of fitness, from those just beginning an exercise program to those needing reaching for a higher level or a sport specific addition to compliment their other interests.
When you come to Active Teens
- please bring a sweat towel and a drink bottle
- wear proper gym clothes at all times, and
- pay a casual fee per class or become an Active Teen member.
