Climate change is changing our world. As a community we need to change what we do to reduce its negative effects.
Cell 3
There are ways we can help reduce climate change. We can all lobby for change.
What sort of world do we want our children to live in?
Cell 4
There are many things we can do at home and in the community to help – Recycle, Reuse and Regenerated:
- use less energy in our home
- walk, ride a bike or take public transport
- recycle rubbish in the bins provided by Council
- use ‘grey water’ from our washing machine to water our garden
- plant native plants in our garden
- save water by limiting showers to 4 minutes or less, and
- join Zero Carbon Moreland.

Your local Council is also doing lots to help make the environment better.
You can contact your local Cuncil and ask what they are doing in your local area. Call or visit your local Council.
