Council’s Home Care food service delivers a healthy three-course meal to older people on weekdays. This service is for older people and people with a disability who cannot cook for themselves.
Meal delivery on weekdays and weekends
Council delivers meals Monday to Friday between 10.30 am and 1.30 pm. You can order extra meals (frozen or chilled) for weekends.
About your meal and menu
The meal includes soup, main course, dessert and fruit juice. Each day there is a choice of meals. The menu changes with each season and caters for special food needs and food likes and dislikes.
Can I use this service?
Council’s Home Care food service is for people who need it most. Council visits you at home and assesses your needs. Then Council will tell you if you are eligible. See Can I use Home Care? to organise an assessment.
