Aquatic education

Ready... Set... Swim and Survive, an initiative of Royal Life Saving Victoria, provides learning pathways incorporating three programs that prove child focused swimming and water safety education for each of the key life stages between 6 months and 14 years.

At Fawkner Leisure Centre your child will explore natural curiosity and build experience through fun, safe swimming lessons.

Learning swimming, survival and lifesaving skills is a lifelong process through continuous participation and regular practice your child will develop and consolidate skills for a lifetime of fun and safe aquatic activity.

Adult Swimmg Lessons Beginners and advanced swimming lessons.
Teenage Swimming Lessons Water awareness, safety skills, and competitive and survival stroke techniques.
Development Swim Squad Introduces participants to the swimming training environment and competition.
Infant Swimming Lessons Water confidence for children aged 12 months to three years.
Pre-school Swimming Lessons Familiarise young children with the water and encourage them to move independently, confidently and safely through the water.
School Aged Swimming Lessons Swimming technique, water safety, water confidence, survival skills and endurance.
