School Aged Swimming Lessons

"Active" a swimming and water safety program for school aged children between the ages of 5 to 14 years.

"Active" is used to emphasise that skills learnt in the program not only saves lives, but provide a foundation for participation in a range o aquatic recreation fitness and sporting activities or continue on to our Development Squad once completing Level 7.

Class activities develop skills across the following strands:

• entries and exits
• underwater skills
• rescue skills
• floating and sculling
• survival and PFD skills
• water Safety knowledge, and
• movement and swimming strokes.
