Plans Assessment Service
By using this service, your plans will be reviewed by an Environmental Health Officer to ensure that proposed buildings and works comply with the requirements of the Food Standards Code.
The involvement of Council's Environmental Health Officers at this point is offered to you as a service, on the basis that Officers can provide you with advice and assistance in setting up the premises.
Our aim is to ensure that, when complete, your premises can be registered without expensive and time-consuming modifications to achieve compliance. As construction goes ahead, Council will visit the site during various stages of the development to assess ongoing works.
When construction is completed a final inspection will be conducted and you will receive an invoice made up specifically for your business including all contact details and the correctly calculated registration fee.
