Internet and computers
At all Moreland libraries you can use the Internet to surf the web or check email, and use a computer for word processing.
Using the Internet at the library
Using the Internet to look at the web and check email is free. You can use it for a maximum of one hour per day.
To use the Internet, you must
- be a library member, and
- be a registered Internet user.
Printing from the internet is 20 cents a page. Internet computers have Internet Explorer and Adobe Acrobat programs.
Apply to be a registered Internet user
- Go to the Information Desk at a library.
- Ask for an Internet User form.
- Sign the form. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must sign the form in front of library staff.
- You can now book and use the internet at any library in Moreland.
- You must bring your library membership card with you to use the computers in the library
Word processing
You can write letters, resumes, school assignments on the library's word processing computers. Book over the phone or at the library. You must bring your library card to use the word processing facilities.
Printing is 20 cents a page. You can only use A4 white paper from the library.
