Summer Reading Fest
The Summer Reading Fest runs at all Moreland libraries during December, January and February.
How to enter
To enter the Fest, get an entry form at the library and write a one-sentence review about any book, audio book, or graphic novel in the libraries' collection.
Any member of Moreland City Libraries of any age can enter.
Prizes
Your entries will go in the draw for weekly prizes of book vouchers that can be used at any bookshop.
You will also go in the draw for major prizes at the end of the Fest.
Fest closing ceremony
Contact Coburg library for bookings and details of the closing event featuring a family entertainer held in early March.
Major prizes and lucky door prizes will be presented during the evening. Bookings essential.
The summer read - State Library of Victoria
The State Library of Victoria Summer Read program also runs between December and March. This program celebrates Victorian books and writing.
You can borrow the recommended books at Moreland City Libraries.
To go in the draw for the prize pack you need to use the State Library's entry form.
