Outdoor pools and waterslide

Oak Park Aquatic Centre provides accessible, safe and secure aquatic areas for recreational, aquatic fun, lap swimming, birthday parties and aquatic education classes.

Come and have fun with pool inflatables on Saturdays and during the school holidays.

Outdoor aquatic area

The outdoor aquatic area is open from 1 November to 31 March. It has:

• 50 metre x 8 lane heated pool
• learners pool
• toddlers play pool
• giant water slide and splash pool
• extensive lawn and shade areas, and 
• tiered shaded seating

Lifeguards and pool supervision

The pool area is fully supervised by qualified lifeguards at all times, so feel free to bring down the family for a day of aquatic fun. As we operate our centre according to guidelines recommended by Lifesaving Victoria, all children under the age of 10 years must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times. All children under the age of 5 years must have a responsible adult in the water with them at all times.

Giant water slide

The water slide is open on busy days when it's hotter than 28 degrees.* The water slide can also be hired by schools, groups, and sporting clubs.

Patrons must be a minimum of 90cm tall and a competent swimmer to use the water slide. We do not allow 2 people down at a time.

*The Water Slide operation hours are at the discression of management please call us on 9304 5600 if you want to know if its open on a certain day.

Pool toys and equipment

With a variety of pool inflatables and other pool toys it will be a guaranteed fun day for the whole family.

Lap lanes

Pool space will vary depending on demand, however at least 2 lap lanes and aqua-play space will be provided at all times with the exception of school carnivals and bookings.
