Schools Learn to Swim Programs

The Oak Park Aquatic Centre offers a range of popular School Learn to Swim programs, tailored to meet your individual school's needs. Programs offered have been developed from Life Saving Victoria's Swim & Survive program, one of the countries finest.

We offer a flexible, safe and affordable program designed to familiarise children with the aquatic environment. Incorporating the teaching of correct stroke techniques in a relaxed and supportive atmosphere, our school programs are an ideal way to reinforce aquatic safety.

All our teachers are AUSTSWIM qualified, experienced and undertake additional venue-specific training to ensure the delivery of a quality program.

Schools Activity Programs

If your school is looking for something more than just swimming then we can help you.

We are able to design and package fitness activity programs to meet your schools requirements, whether for 1 session or a 10 week program to complement your schools curriculum..

All activities within the fitness areas are supervised by nationally accredited staff, which provides expert advice, guidance and supervision.

Activities may include:

• aqua aerobics classes
• gym
• water safety and lifesaving activities
• CPR classes
• snorkelling
• water polo or flippa ball

School Swim Carnivals

Looking for a great spot for your next Swimming Carnival?

With green lawns, ample shade and unrestricted views to the pool on the tiered spectating seating, the Oak Park Aquatic Centre is an ideal spot for a swim carnival.

Kiosk facilities are available and our staff are on hand to assist with the organisation of your schools big day out.

School Fun Days and end of year break ups

Why not celebrate your end of year breakup with a trip to the pool?

An afternoon spent splashing around in the great outdoors is an ideal end of year farewell. We can arrange access to our giant aqua inflatables and slide passes while catering and kiosk facilities are also available if required.
