Sustainable Moreland Advisory Group
The Sustainable Moreland Advisory Group shares information, discusses issues, promotes community awareness and advises Council on its strategies, policies and programs on sustainability specifically related to climate change, waste, water and water sensitive urban design, sustainable buildings and open space.
Scope
The Sustainable Moreland Advisory Committee advises and assists Moreland City Council in developing and monitoring policies, programs and projects designed to address environmentally sustainability in the municipality.
Members

- The Sustainable Moreland Advisory Committee will consist of a minimum of 12 and a maximum of 25 members, including a Councilor and three council officers.
The following organisations will be offered the opportunity to nominate representatives to the Sustainable Moreland Advisory Committee:
- Environs Australia
- ICLEI - Local Governments of rsustainability
- CERES
- Merri Creek Management Committee
- Moonee Ponds Creek Co-ordination Committee
- Moreland Energy Foundation
- A local architect or property developer
Meetings
This committee meets every three months.
